Austria’s capital community volunteers deliver fact-based drug education with young people across the city

VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Community volunteers linked to Foundation for a Drug-Free World Austria are expanding outreach in Vienna, speaking with youth, families and educators through street information stands and community events. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to present straightforward information on drug risks, with particular attention to cannabis, often cited as Europe’s most commonly used illicit drug. Details were published in a Scientology Europe report.

Organisers say, the Vienna activities aim to reach teenagers early, including at large public gatherings such as the Donauinselfest, while also connecting with educators interested in classroom-ready resources. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the news european commission EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and the United Nations, said: “Prevention works best when young people receive verified information early, in plain language—supporting both community well-being and European civic values.”
